The Illinois Human Rights Act requires that all employees receive training about sexual harassment in the workplace on an annual basis. Also, all newly hired employees must be trained within 90 days of hire. This law applies to all employees including full-time, part-time, seasonal, or temporary workers. The IMA, in partnership with the law firm of Amundsen Davis, has developed a training program that meets the state requirement, providing compliant training for both supervisors and non-supervisors and has been updated with the 2025 Certificates of Completion.
IMA members are offered this on-line training program at no charge as a benefit of your membership in the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association.
The Training Program Includes:

All employment decisions, impacting terms and conditions of employment, shall not be based on any discriminatory basis such as gender, race, age, or sexual orientation.
